Director: Firas Khoury

Firas Khoury (born in 1982) is a Palestinian scriptwriter and director with a BA in Cinema. He directed a number of short films including the award-winning SEVEN DAYS IN DEIR BULUS (2007) and YELLOW MUMS (2010), both of which screened at International festivals and were broadcast on TV channels such as ARTE. Firas is also a founding member of Group Falastinema, which screens films and develops cinema workshops throughout Palestine. He received production grants from the CNC in France, the Doha Film Institute, and the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture for his feature-length film, THE FLAG. His short film, MARADONA’S LEGS, received several awards.
