pleasure while driving the kindergarten bus and bringing children together with
the utmost happiness. She proves that she is able to uncover her dreams despite the unwavering criticisms that follow her.

The film starts with a pregnant minor girl who brings us to the idea of marriage of minors, but when the girl enters to a small cinema tent, we will discover that she was hiding her brother under her clothes to look pregnant in order to be able to get the tent in with one ticket.

Damien Ounouri

Algerian director Damien Ounouri is based in Algiers. His first feature documentary FIDAÏ (2012) was produced by Chinese director Jia Zhang Ke. It was screened at TIFF and released in France. His first fiction film KINDIL was part of the Directors’ Fortnight Cannes 2016.

In the Future They Ate From the Finest Porcelain resides in the cross-section between sci-fi, archaeology and politics. Combining live motion and CGI, the film explores the role of myth for history, fact and national identity.
A narrative resistance group makes underground deposits of elaborate porcelain – suggested to belong to an entirely fictional civilization. Their aim is to influence history and support future claims to their vanishing lands.

A barber’s shop in Switzerland, kept by two Iraqis: A place where refugees from different nationalities come and meet. They all tell of their journeys to Switzerland and about life in exile.
