Zhao Liang

Zhao Liang born 1917 in Liaoning Province. He is a Chinese documentary film director. His early work was independent and was not approved for release by the Chinese government, but his works has since been released in China.

 

FilmLab Palestine

The FilmLab: Palestine is a non-profit company established in 2014, and based in the Old Town of Ramallah, Palestine. Inspired by personal experience to empower Palestinian youth in refugee camps in Jordan to tell their own personal history and document their collective memory through film art, the Film Lab uses international models of public and private partnerships to effectively promote film art and film culture in Palestine with the greater aspiration to create a productive, dynamic film industry in Palestine.

Days of Cinema is an annual event promoting local and international films, organized by FilmLab: Palestine every October across several venues in different cities within Palestine.

Days of Cinema puts Palestine on the map of the international film industry and movie landscape.

Sandra Madi

Sandra Madi, born in Amman – Jordan 1976, is a Palestinian film Director/Actress/Writer, she has 20 plays on her record that toured many cities in Europe, performing and training young people through many workshops .

Mohamed Jabaly

“Because of all the death and destruction I’ve seen through my camera, I have a burning desire every minute to deliver a message to the world: that we are alive and living with nothing,” says 24-year-old photojournalist and filmmaker Mohamed Jabaly. “Regardless of the siege, destruction, Israeli occupation and the constant anguish we see from it, I can find no other way to express what’s happening in my country except by taking photos. Through my pictures I want to unravel the Israeli brutality that has been and continues to be inflicted on us.”
