Days of Cinema is an annual event promoting local and international films, organized by FilmLab: Palestine every October across several venues in different cities within Palestine.
Days of Cinema puts Palestine on the map of the international film industry and movie landscape.
Since 2014, 6-10 days within the month of October are dedicated to a unique program of renowned international film screenings for adults and children, along with panel discussions, professional film workshops, specialized programs for children, and networking opportunities. Next to cities like Ramallah and Jenin, the festival will have a focus in Jerusalem.
Days of Cinema 2nd provided an increase of 50% of audience compared to the previous year, and screened more than 60 films in total and attracted an audience of 3000 people across six Palestinian cities: Bethlehem, Nablus, Gaza, Jerusalem.
In two years, Days of Cinema succeeded in becoming a focal point for the international film scene, increasing the interest in cooperation with Palestinian filmmakers and support to develop the local film industry.
This path has to continue and be reinforced to turn Days of Cinema into a regular international film festival,
Its place in the annual international schedule.
