Bilal Krunz

Bilal Krunz  was born in Beit Jala in 1995. He was very active during his academic study, whereas he
participated in the production of the documentary film «Complexity» directed by Nidal Krounz.
He also participated in the film project “I love Bethlehem «”, which was organized by DAK during
spring and summer 2016. Besides, he had an effective role in producing a promotional film for
Herbawi Company.

Madam El

Nader and Abed roam the mountains and dig caves to look for historical remains. The two boys deliver the pieces they find to an antiques dealer who gives them very little money in return. What they find in one remote cave will challenge their friendship. Things become more complicated when adults force themselves into the simple world of the two boys.

Laila Abbas

Laila Abbas is a Palestinian filmmaker who studied film producing in the UK. She worked as an academic in various Palestinian universities. Her previous works include the documentary Ice & Dust (2013) and three short films.

Izriqaq

In a land dotted with killing machines they find an easy cover-up of their crime. But even when the truth starts to find its way out, fate will play a game so common to this land.
Izriqaq is a story about the engraved damage that happens to a place after decades of desensitization with death and killings. It’s about the never-ending loop of patriarchy in a society never in control of its own being.

Rama Mari

Rama Mari studied Cinematography at the Academy of Arts University in San Francisco.
She has worked as a Cinematographer and Assistant camera on a number of productions in Los Angeles before moving back to Palestine to work on her own films. IZRIQAQ is her directorial debut. She is currently working on her first feature.

One Minute

During the summer of 2014 Gaza war; in the battered  neighborhood of Shujaiya, 37-year Salam takes her house as a shelter to protect herself and her daughter Alia from the attacks outside, until she receives a message informing her of their impending fate. One Minute takes us through a journey between these moments

Dina Naser

Dina Naser holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Art and Graphic Design; recently she finished her masters in Documentary Film Direction through the DocNomads film program.  Beginning in the art department, Dina has worked her way through a variety of television and film productions, until she began independently directing and producing.

Nidal Badarny

Nidal Badarneh was born in the village of Arrabeh in the area of Palestine occupied in 1948, studied theatre and Cinema. He has directed and acted in multiple comedic plays. He has also directed short movies such as “villagers”, “penalty kick”, and his first documentary movie “the 30th of March

Billiardo

Billiardo tells the story of a kid living with his mother and siblings, their father is absent. They live in a small Palestinian village surrounded with checkpoints .He spends his summer holiday inventing games from recycled material, this time he decide along with his friends to make a Billiardo table by collecting the needed material and move it using their bicycles

Bilal Al-Khatib

Bilal Al-Khatib is a cinematographer born in Ramallah and graduated with a degree in Journalism from Al-Quds University, he participated in a number of specialized courses on directing and film making, made several short, fiction and documentary films
