Synopsis

When the flag of Palestine continues to mysteriously reappear on his rooftop even after he takes it down, a Palestinian widower must prove to Israeli soldiers that he didn’t do it - that is, if he is to prevent his home from being demolished.

Wild Eyes

Synopsis

A Palestinian doctor’s nightly commute from Jericho to her home in Ramallah turns treacherous when her tire blows. Surrounded by wild animals on the desolate road, a stranger comes to her rescue but she soon realizes that he’s not the Good Samaritan he seems to be.

 

Cinema Mon Amour

Synopsis

Abu Abdallah, a former projectionist, barricades himself inside the last remaining art house cinema building to stop its demolition. Tareq, the inheritor of the building, tries to move the man out before demolishing it and transforming it into a huge shopping center. Tareq tries to find solutions to get the man to come out, but he struggles to enter the locked building.

 

Fida Touma

Fida Touma is the Director General of the A.M. Qattan Foundation (AMQF). Prior to AMQF, Fida was the Director of the Old City of Jerusalem Revitalization Programme at Taawon and was part of the team and, later, co-lead of the Riwaq- Centre for Architectural Conservation. She holds a B.Sc. in architecture from Birzeit University (Palestine) and an MA in public policy & administration from UMASS-Amherst (USA).

Rula Halawani

Rula Halawani holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advanced Photography from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada (1989); and a Master of Arts degree in photographic studies from the University of Westminster, London (2001). Halawani is based in Jerusalem, where, in addition to her artistic practice, she was the founding director and an associate professor of the Photography program at Birzeit University.

Mohammed Sawwaf

Mohammad al Sawwaf is a script writer and director and founder of 1000 Multimedia. Mohammad is an acclaimed filmmaker working in the field since 2008. Mohammad is also a media and communication consultant working with a number of Palestinian organizations. He has a bachelor’s degree in media studies and an MA in history. He directed a number of films, including Welcome to Gaza (2010), Abu Halima (2011), From Which Part of Rafah Are You? (2012), I Have a Blog (2012), and The Story Tellers (2014), which won Al Jazeera Award for Feature Films.
